ClickFunnels is a sales funnel builder priced at $97, $197 or $297 a month, or $81, $164 or $248 a month billed yearly, plus a Dominate plan sold only yearly at $5,997. Its 4.7 Trustpilot score is real, but recent 5-star reviews mostly come from customers ClickFunnels invited.
This ClickFunnels review sorted the 214 English Trustpilot reviews posted since February 1, 2026: 172 carry the Invited label, and 170 of those give 5 stars. 13 of the other 42 give 1 or 2 stars. ClickFunnels says it takes no percentage of sales, though its Payments AI gateway charges 2.9% + $0.30. Pausing costs $17 a month, and cancelling deletes your content.
You are weighing $970 to $5,997 a year on ClickFunnels, so you want reviews you can trust. None of the 4 written reviews on Google’s first page uses ClickFunnels’ current plan names, and 2 still quote plans it retired in June 2025.
A 5-star review that thanks a support agent for 1 call tells you little about month 6, when you want to pause, cancel or move your customers somewhere else.
Below are the 4 plans and their limits, how the recent Trustpilot reviews split, and how ClickFunnels handles 5 jobs a seller hires it for, from building pages to leaving.
Key Takeaways
- Price: Launch costs $97 a month, Scale $197 and Optimize $297, or $81, $164 and $248 billed yearly. Dominate is $5,997 a year.
- Recent reviews: since February 2026, 170 of 172 invited Trustpilot reviews give 5 stars, and 13 of the 42 others give 1 or 2.
- Payments: ClickFunnels says it takes no percentage of sales, but its Payments AI gateway charges 2.9% + $0.30 and lists 0.5% more for billing features.
- Email limit: Launch holds 10,000 contacts but sends 50,000 emails a month, which is about 5 emails to a full list.
- Leaving: pausing costs $17 a month and takes your funnels offline for customers, and cancelling deletes all your content.
- Verdict: worth it if you run paid traffic into multi-step funnels and use most of the bundle, not for 1 checkout with an order bump.
What ClickFunnels costs after its June 2025 plan change
ClickFunnels sells 4 plans: Launch at $97 a month, Scale at $197, Optimize at $297, and Dominate at $5,997 a year with no monthly option. Pay for a year up front and Launch drops to $970, or about $81 a month, which is the figure ClickFunnels’ pricing page shows first. For that, 1 account hosts your landing pages, checkout, upsell pages, email, courses, membership sites and a community.
Still working out whether your product even needs a funnel? The Online Selling Mistakes Challenge walks through the 5 mistakes digital sellers make most, over 5 days by email.
ClickFunnels’ price climbs with your list: Launch’s $97 a month covers 10,000 contacts, Scale’s $197 covers 75,000, and Optimize’s $297 covers 150,000.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Contacts | Emails a month | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $97 | $970 (about $81 a month) | 10,000 | 50,000 | Standard |
| Scale | $197 | $1,970 (about $164 a month) | 75,000 | 300,000 | Priority and live chat |
| Optimize | $297 | $2,970 (about $248 a month) | 150,000 | 750,000 | Priority and live chat |
| Dominate | Not sold monthly | $5,997 | 400,000 | 1.2 million | VIP |
Launch also limits you to 1 workspace, 2 team members, 3 courses and 5 custom domains. Automations, countdown funnels and the custom code editor start on Scale, and the Affiliate Center starts on Optimize. Every plan lists unlimited funnels, with a “Limited Time” tag beside it on the pricing page.
Search for a ClickFunnels review and Google’s AI summary still lists a “Startup Plan” at around $97 a month and a “Pro Plan” at around $297. ClickFunnels’ own help center dates the Startup and Pro plans at those prices to June 2024 through June 2025, when the 4 current plans replaced them.

The written reviews ranking under it have the same gap. Forbes Advisor’s review, dated June 2024, calls the plans Startup and Pro and prices Pro 2 ways in the same article: $157 a month on yearly billing, which was the Pro price from 2021 to May 2024, and $248, which was the price from June 2024. Reply.io’s review, dated January 2025 but titled 2026, uses the same retired names. Yatter’s review describes 2 packages, at $97 and $297 a month, and Raelyn Tan’s affiliate review quotes no prices at all.
The free trial depends on where you sign up. The Start Free Trial buttons on the pricing page’s plan cards lead to a 7-day trial, while the page’s own search description and other ClickFunnels signup pages say 14 days. Our ClickFunnels coupon code guide found the same split across 19 public ClickFunnels checkout pages. All 4 written reviews on page 1 say 14 days. A 30-day money-back guarantee follows the trial.
ClickFunnels reviews on Trustpilot: who gave the 5 stars
Most of ClickFunnels’ recent 5-star reviews on Trustpilot come from customers ClickFunnels invited. Of the 214 English reviews posted since February 1, 2026, 172 carry the Invited label, and 170 of the 172 give 5 stars. Across all time, ClickFunnels’ Trustpilot page shows 2,512 reviews and a TrustScore of 4.7, with 2,173 at 5 stars and 174 at 1 star. The sort below covers only those recent 214, each one read and filed by its stars and its label.
The label tells you how the review was collected. Trustpilot’s review labels page says Invited means the business used a Trustpilot invitation tool to ask the customer. Reviews without a direct invitation tied to a purchase are labelled Unprompted, a group that also includes basic review links a business can share.
None of the 172 invited reviews gives 1 or 2 stars. 167 of them thank someone for help: a support agent by first name, an onboarding call, a Loom video or a Google Meet session. Only 5 talk about the software or the company itself. The 42 reviews without the Invited label read differently. 28 give 5 stars, many of them also about a support call, and 13 give 1 or 2 stars.

Invited reviews are still real reviews. Trustpilot says invited reviews get the same fraud detection and moderation as any other, though Trustpilot’s public page does not show how ClickFunnels decided whom to invite. A good support call is worth praising, too.
Money is the biggest subject in the 19 English reviews that gave ClickFunnels 1 or 2 stars since late October 2025: 11 of the 19, 8 of them about the ClickFunnels subscription itself.
| Complaint | 1-star | 2-star | What reviewers describe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Charges, cancelling and refunds | 10 | 1 | Billed after cancelling, charged during a “free” trial, still billed $97 after asking for a pause |
| Support | 3 | 0 | Nearly 2 weeks without a fix on the top plan, 4 days without a reply |
| Bugs and reliability | 2 | 1 | Tracking events not firing, course videos stopping mid-lesson |
| Price for what you get | 2 | 0 | Higher tiers needed for basic features, “the same systems for less elsewhere” |
A US reviewer in June 2026 summed up the money complaints in 1 line: “Cancelled the platform and it kept billing.” ClickFunnels replied that the account was cancelled and the refund processed. The other 3 money complaints are about offers tied to ClickFunnels, such as a One Comma webinar, rather than the software, and ClickFunnels posted a public reply on 18 of the 19.
Building pages and funnels you can edit yourself
ClickFunnels’ page and funnel editor draws praise even from a 2-star Trustpilot reviewer. That May 2026 review is titled “Excellent as a funnel builder, but not reliable enough as an all-in-one business platform”, and its writer left over course videos, email and community features rather than the editor. On Launch, 1 subscription covers landing pages, funnels with a checkout, up to 3 courses, membership sites, a community and email, and that bundle is the reason to pick ClickFunnels over a plain page builder.
The editor draws detailed complaints too. A 1-star review from November 2025 lists bullet points that delete 2 at a time, an undo that does nothing, and containers that are hard to select. On Reddit, a commenter in an r/AskMarketing thread asking whether ClickFunnels is worth it called it “The buggiest software I’ve ever used in 15 years of marketing experience.” Forbes Advisor’s review mentions a learning curve as well.
Do you work alone on 1 brand? Launch’s 1 workspace and 2 team members fit that. Need a second brand, more than 2 people in the account, or automations, and you are on Scale at $197 a month, with 5 workspaces and 5 team members. If all you build is 1 landing page, the Leadpages alternatives guide covers lighter page builders.
Taking payments and selling more per order
ClickFunnels says it takes no percentage of your sales, and its pricing FAQ puts it plainly: “You’ll keep every penny you make.” The payment itself runs through Payments AI, the gateway ClickFunnels’ help center recommends and sets up from inside your workspace.
Payments AI charges a base fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per payment and lists 0.5% for its billing, tax and invoicing features. You can connect your own Stripe account inside Payments AI. A direct Stripe connection without it is “not part of the standard setup” and needs a request to ClickFunnels Support, and PayPal works only through Payments AI. The help center also warns that you cannot log in to Payments AI once you cancel ClickFunnels, so any money held there has to come out first.
The selling tools are where ClickFunnels earns its name. Order bumps sit on the checkout page, and one-click upsells and downsells follow the payment, so a buyer can add a second product without typing their card again.
Those tactics work even on people who know them. On my daughter’s birthday, after dinner with my in-laws, my kids pulled us into a gelato shop. The large cup cost only a little more than the regular and was far bigger, so all of us took the large, already full. I couldn’t finish mine. As I wrote to my email list afterwards, I’m a marketer and “I still fall to this sales tactic.”
You do not need a full funnel suite to get those tools, though. ThriveCart sells order bumps and upsells too, and SamCart does on its Pro plan, as our SamCart review found. CartMango is another, and it is the company I run.
Emailing your list on 50,000 sends a month
ClickFunnels’ Launch plan stores 10,000 contacts but sends 50,000 emails a month. Email everyone on a full list and you hit the cap after 5 sends.
A seller in an r/clickfunnels thread did the same sum: “On the cheapest plan, I can have 10k contacts, but I can only send 50k emails PER MONTH, meaning I can only email my list 5 times per month”. Email a 5,000-contact list 3 times a week and you send about 65,000 emails a month, so the send cap can force the jump from $97 to $197 a month long before the contact cap does.
Scale lifts the limits to 75,000 contacts and 300,000 emails, at $197 a month or $164 billed yearly. Courses step up the same way, from 3 on Launch to 6 on Scale. ClickFunnels vs Kajabi lines up both platforms’ course and contact caps, and GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels shows what the same 50,000 emails cost on a tool that bills email by use.
Getting help when a funnel breaks
ClickFunnels’ Launch plan comes with Standard Support, and priority support with live chat starts on Scale, according to the pricing page. Support draws most of the praise on Trustpilot and some of the sharpest complaints. On the good side, 167 of the 172 invited Trustpilot reviews since February thank an agent, an onboarding call or a coach. Several mention agents recording a Loom video of the fix, or joining a Google Meet call.
On the bad side, support is the subject of 3 of those 19 low-star reviews. A reviewer in Cyprus who joined on ClickFunnels’ highest plan wrote in May 2026 that a PayPal problem sat for nearly 2 weeks with no follow-up, and that they moved to GoHighLevel. Another low-star review, from a fast-growing account in November 2025, says support offered workarounds for bugs and that tickets passed to the software team never came back.
In these reviews, a how-to question tends to get a friendly video reply, while a bug that needs an engineer can sit.
Leaving ClickFunnels, the job page-1 reviews skip
Leaving ClickFunnels costs you either $17 a month to pause, with your funnels offline, or your content, which cancelling deletes. None of the 4 written reviews on Google’s first page mentions either option.
Pausing starts at the end of your billing cycle, per ClickFunnels’ pause guide. While paused, your funnels, courses and connected apps switch off for you and your customers, and a banner sits on each funnel until you upgrade again. ClickFunnels’ older Classic help center still lists a $9.99 pause, and a July 2026 2-star review describes asking for a $9.99 pause, losing access to the pages, and still being billed $97 a month.
ClickFunnels’ cancellation guide walks through several confirmation screens, and 1 of the final buttons reads “Cancel My Account & Delete All My Content”.
Before you press it, the same guide lists 2 jobs. Cancel any subscriptions your customers bought, because “Otherwise, they will continue to be charged.” And withdraw any money held in Payments AI, since that login stops working once ClickFunnels is cancelled.
ClickFunnels’ terms add 2 timing rules. Cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends, which on a 7-day trial makes day 6 your last safe day. On a monthly or yearly plan, the terms ask for at least 10 days’ notice by email before the next billing date, or “your credit card may still be charged”. Cancel a yearly plan early and the terms promise a credit toward other ClickFunnels subscriptions, not a refund.
If you are planning a move, the ClickFunnels alternatives guide compares 8 options and prices the all-in-ones at 10,000 contacts.
ClickFunnels next to CartMango, job by job
ClickFunnels leads 3 of the 7 rows below (pages, email and courses) and CartMango leads 2 (leaving and cost), at $10 to $30 a year once paid plans start in November against ClickFunnels’ $970.
| Job | ClickFunnels Launch | CartMango | Ahead today |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build pages | Full funnel editor, 1 workspace | Mini Pages, simple hosted sales pages | ClickFunnels |
| Take payments | Payments AI at 2.9% + $0.30, your Stripe can connect inside it | Your own Stripe or PayPal at their card fees, 0% CartMango cut | Even |
| Sell more per order | Order bumps, one-click upsells | Order bumps on every plan, upsells from the $20 Gold plan | Even |
| Email your list | 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month | No email tool, passes buyers to Kit, ActiveCampaign, beehiiv or BirdSend | ClickFunnels |
| Host courses | 3 courses | Not yet, planned for October 2026 | ClickFunnels |
| Leave | $17 a month to pause, or 10 days’ notice to cancel and delete all content | No cancellation fee, existing subscriptions keep paying you | CartMango |
| Cost, billed yearly | $970 a year, about $81 a month | Free now, then $10 to $30 a year, about $0.83 to $2.50 a month | CartMango |
Weigh the CartMango column knowing that CartMango is my company, and so is BirdSend in the email row. The Leave row comes from CartMango’s own FAQ, which promises no cancellation fees and says existing recurring payments keep reaching you after you leave.
CartMango’s course hosting and community are planned for October 2026 on the $30-a-year Platinum plan. Until then you can sell a course’s files with protected delivery and host the videos on Vimeo or YouTube yourself.
Is ClickFunnels worth it for your business?
ClickFunnels is worth it when you will use most of the bundle. It is expensive when you use 1 piece of it.
- Worth it: you run paid traffic into multi-step funnels, such as a challenge or a low-priced offer followed by upsells, and want pages, email and checkout on 1 bill. If you need automations, plan on Scale at $1,970 a year.
- Check the email cap first: your list is near 10,000 and you email it more than 5 times a month. Scale’s 300,000 sends cover that.
- Probably not yet: you sell 1 product, have no list, and mostly want a checkout with an order bump. $970 a year, before your first sale, pays for an editor you will mostly leave unused.
- Plan the exit before you build: your courses or a membership would live inside ClickFunnels. Pausing switches them off for students, and cancelling deletes them.
ClickFunnels FAQ
What is better than ClickFunnels?
For the same kind of bundle at a lower price, our ClickFunnels alternatives guide points solo sellers to Systeme.io. GoHighLevel suits agencies running client accounts, Kajabi suits course sellers, and a checkout tool such as ThriveCart or CartMango fits a seller who only uses the order form. That guide compares all of them.
How much does ClickFunnels cost a month?
ClickFunnels costs $97 a month for Launch, $197 for Scale and $297 for Optimize. Billed yearly, those become $970, $1,970 and $2,970, or about $81, $164 and $248 a month. Dominate is sold yearly only, at $5,997. ClickFunnels says it takes no percentage of sales, but card payments through Payments AI cost 2.9% + $0.30 each, with 0.5% listed for billing features.
Is ClickFunnels having issues right now?
ClickFunnels posts outages and incidents on its status page at status.myclickfunnels.com, and the older Classic product has its own at status.clickfunnels.com. If the status page is clear, contact ClickFunnels support.
Does ClickFunnels take a percentage of your sales?
ClickFunnels says no. Its pricing FAQ says it takes no percentage of your sales. You still pay the payment processor: Payments AI, the default in ClickFunnels, charges 2.9% + $0.30 per payment and lists 0.5% for its billing, tax and invoicing features.
How long is the ClickFunnels free trial?
The trial is 7 or 14 days, depending on the signup page. The Start Free Trial buttons on the pricing page’s plan cards lead to 7 days, while other ClickFunnels signup pages give 14. You add a card at signup, and the terms ask you to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Is ClickFunnels legit?
ClickFunnels is a real company. It is made by Etison, which lists an address in Canton, Georgia on its pricing page, and Forbes Advisor dates its launch to 2014. Read the cancellation steps before you sign up, since 11 of its 19 low-star reviews since late October 2025 are about money.
When an order bump is all you wanted from a funnel
If all you wanted from ClickFunnels was an order bump or an upsell, $970 a year is a lot to pay for it. Pausing later still costs $17 a month just to keep your funnels stored.
CartMango covers that part on its own. Buyers pay through your own Stripe or PayPal, CartMango takes 0% of each sale, order bumps come on every plan and upsells start on the $20-a-year Gold plan. CartMango is free right now, and paid plans start in November from $10 a year.
