Beacons Price in 2026: $0 to $100 a Month, and Who Pays 9%

by Welly Mulia - October 16, 2026

Beacons charges $0, $10, $30 or $100 a month across its 4 plans: Free, Creator, Creator Plus and Creator Max. Free and Creator also keep 9% of every product sale. That seller fee drops to 0% on Creator Plus, which costs $30 a month or $300 a year.

The Beacons price on paper leaves out card processing, which adds 2.9% plus $0.30 per US sale through Stripe on every plan. Creator Plus works out cheaper than the free plan once you sell more than about $333 a month. Beacons’ pricing page now lists Creator Max at $100 a month, while its own help center and most guides still say $90.

If you are looking up the Beacons price, you are probably choosing between staying free and paying for a plan. That choice turns on 1 number: how much you sell each month.

Beacons does not make the comparison easy. Its homepage says the free plan has no platform fees, while the Free card further down the same page says 9%. That same card promises courses with video hosting, which the plan grid says Free does not include.

Below, you will find what each plan keeps from a $10, $29 and $97 sale, the monthly sales where $30 a month starts saving money, and the free-plan email limit that catches small lists.

Key Takeaways

  • 4 prices. Beacons charges $0, $10, $30 or $100 a month, and paying yearly gets 2 months free on Creator and Creator Plus.
  • The 9% fee. Free and Creator keep 9% of every product sale and affiliate commission, on top of Stripe’s 2.9% plus $0.30.
  • Break-even point. Creator Plus costs less than the 9% fee once your sales pass about $333 a month, or $278 on yearly billing.
  • Creator is a features plan. The $10 plan charges the same 9% as Free, so it buys a custom domain and 500 email sends.
  • Stale numbers. Beacons lists Creator Max at $100 a month, while its help center and 3 of 4 independent page-1 guides say $90.

Beacons price for every plan, monthly and yearly

Beacons has 4 plans, priced at $0, $10, $30 and $100 a month. On Creator and Creator Plus, yearly billing costs the same as 10 months, which brings Creator to $100 a year and Creator Plus to $300.

If you are picking a plan for your first product, the plan fee is only one of the money decisions ahead of you. I walk through 5 common selling mistakes in the free Online Selling Mistakes Challenge, 1 email a day.

Free and Creator keep a 9% seller fee on every sale while Creator Plus and Creator Max charge 0%, so at $30 a month Creator Plus is the cheapest Beacons plan that takes no cut.

Here is the plan section of the Beacons pricing page on its monthly setting. The fee line to look for is “9% seller fees” on the Free card and “0% seller fees” on Creator Plus.

Beacons pricing page showing Free at $0, Creator at $10, Creator Plus at $30 and Creator Max at $100 a month

Beacons’ own plan cards, monthly billing. Read the seller-fee line on each card, and the Creator Max price.

Creator Max now reads $100, not $90

Beacons’ pricing page lists Creator Max at $100 a month, while its own help center pricing plans article still says “$90/month or $900/year”. Google’s AI Overview for this search gives a range of $90 to $100. Of the 4 independent guides on Google’s first page, 3 say $90 and the 4th leaves the plan out.

The yearly card has a second problem. It says “$900 billed annually” and, right beside it, “$83.3 /mo”. 12 months at $83.3 comes to about $1,000, not $900.

My read, and it is only a guess, is that the card was half updated. $900 is 10 months of the old $90 price. $83.3 a month is 10 months of the new $100 spread over 12, which matches the “2 months free” banner above the cards. Beacons does not say which figure is right, so if you pay for Creator Max yearly, check the total at checkout before you confirm.

Older guides use the old plan names

Fritz AI and The Leap, both on Google’s first page, still describe plans called Creator Pro, Store Pro and Business Pro. Those line up with today’s Creator ($10), Creator Plus ($30) and Creator Max ($90 on those pages). Talkspresso uses “Creator Pro” for the $30 plan instead, and quotes it at $240 a year, while Beacons’ page says $300 a year for that plan.

Is the Beacons free plan really free?

The Beacons free plan costs $0 a month with no time limit, but it keeps 9% of every product you sell through it. The help center lists invoices as the one exception, at 0%. On a $29 sale, the 9% comes to $2.61.

The homepage muddies this. In the section about selling, it says “No platform fees on the free plan. Cash out in one day.” A few scrolls down, the Free card says “Sell with 9% Seller Fees.” The pricing page and the help center’s transaction fees article both say 9% on Free and Creator, 0% on Creator Plus and Creator Max. Plan your numbers on the 9%.

Is 9% a lot? Of the 4 other ways to sell a file below, only Gumroad takes more.

Gumroad takes 10% plus $0.50 per sale, which our Gumroad pricing breakdown covers in full. Payhip’s free plan takes 5%, as the Payhip pricing guide shows. Stan Store takes 0% but has no free plan, starting at $29 a month in our Stan Store pricing breakdown. CartMango, the checkout I run, takes 0% too and is free right now, from $10 a year once paid plans start in November.

The same 9% applies to affiliate links. On Free and Creator, Beacons takes 9% of the commission you earn from its brand partners. “Keep 100% of affiliate link commissions” is listed as a Creator Plus feature.

The AI tools are free up to a daily limit. Free gives 30 AI credits a day, and a chat with Beam, the AI assistant, costs 3 credits per exchange, so about 10 chats a day.

Creator raises the limit to 300 credits a day, and Creator Plus removes the cap.

The 50-send email limit

Beacons limits email sends to 50 a month on Free and 500 on Creator, with no limit from Creator Plus up. Every plan collects unlimited contacts and lets you export them, so your list can leave with you.

I wrote about why that export matters to my own list back in 2023. I had grown my LinkedIn account from about 500 followers to 1,000 in 6 weeks, and the whole point was to move a share of them onto my email list. That reason has not changed: “No one (not even my mom or dog) can take it away from me.”

With 60 subscribers, 1 newsletter to everyone is 60 sends, so the free plan cannot cover even 1 email a month to the whole list. With 300 subscribers, Creator covers 1 full send a month and part of a second.

What you keep from a $10, $29 and $97 sale on Beacons

On the Free and Creator plans, a $29 sale leaves you $25.25 after Beacons’ 9% and Stripe’s processing fee, while on Creator Plus the same sale leaves $27.86.

Sale priceBeacons fee on Free or CreatorStripe feeYou keep on Free or CreatorYou keep on Creator Plus
$10$0.90$0.59$8.51$9.41
$29$2.61$1.14$25.25$27.86
$97$8.73$3.11$85.16$93.89

The gap is exactly the 9%, and it grows with the price.

The Stripe column uses the US card rate of 2.9% plus $0.30 on Stripe’s pricing page. Beacons connects to your own Stripe or PayPal account, so the processor charges you directly. PayPal costs more, at 3.49% plus $0.49 per US sale on PayPal’s fee page.

When Creator Plus pays for itself

Creator Plus becomes cheaper than the free plan once you sell more than about $333 a month on monthly billing. That is where 9% of your sales equals the $30 subscription. On yearly billing, at $25 a month, the line drops to about $278. Below $333 a month, the free plan wins. Say you sell $150 a month: you pay $13.50 in seller fees on Free. Creator would add $10 on top of the same fee, and Creator Plus would cost $30, so Free is the cheapest total.

Above it, the gap widens fast. At $1,000 a month, the 9% fee is $90, so Creator Plus saves $60 every month on monthly billing. On Creator, the same month costs $100: the $10 plan plus the same $90 fee. At $2,000 a month the fee is $180 and the saving is $150, which is $1,800 over a year, enough to cover 6 years of Creator Plus on yearly billing.

A seller wrote in an r/digitalproductselling post that they averaged $1.5k to $3k a month selling products on Beacons for over a year. The post does not say which plan they used. If those are sales, the free plan’s 9% would take $135 to $270 a month, against $30 flat on Creator Plus.

Bar chart of what each Beacons plan costs in a month with $1,000 in sales: Free $90, Creator $100, Creator Plus $30, Creator Max $100

At $1,000 a month in sales, the $10 Creator plan costs more than Free, and Creator Plus costs least.

Why the $10 Creator plan never saves on fees

The Creator plan charges the same 9% seller fee as Free, plus $10 a month. At every sales level, it costs more than Free in fees. You buy it for what it adds: a custom domain (free for the first year, per the help center), 500 email sends a month, 300 AI credits a day and sending email from your own domain.

If you are already on Creator, the switch to Creator Plus pays off sooner. The extra $20 a month equals 9% of about $222 in sales on monthly billing, or about $185 on yearly billing.

Cheap products feel the fees most. On a $10 sale, Beacons and Stripe together keep $1.49 on the free plan, almost 15% of the price, because Stripe’s fixed $0.30 weighs more on a small sale. Our guide on how to price digital products covers setting a price with that in mind.

What Creator Plus and Creator Max add beyond the fee

Creator Plus adds Klarna and Affirm payments, unlimited memberships, unlimited courses with video hosting, unlimited email sends, unlimited AI credits and 100% of affiliate commissions, on top of the 0% fee. The comparison grid also lists removing Beacons branding, payment plans and search engine settings for product pages.

Courses are a clear line between the plans, though Beacons’ own pages disagree here too. The plan grid gives Free and Creator 1 course with no video hosting, while the homepage Free card lists “Courses with Video Hosting”. If you plan to sell video lessons, go by the grid and test it before you promise anything to buyers.

The pricing grid ticks order bumps on all 4 plans, while the older help article lists them under Creator Plus. An order bump is a second product offered at checkout, and our upsell page guide explains how it differs from an upsell. Check your own dashboard before paying $30 for it alone.

Creator Max keeps the same 0% fee as Creator Plus and adds services around it: Google Workspace, white glove onboarding, priority support, a physical NFC card that opens your page, and access to Beacons events. None of that changes what you keep per sale. It costs $70 a month more than Creator Plus on monthly billing, so it suits a creator who wants the support and the extras.

Beacons Creator Plus and Stan Store’s Creator plan cost the same, $25 a month on yearly billing, and neither takes a cut of sales.

At $500 a month in digital sales on yearly billing, Beacons Free costs $45 in seller fees, Creator Plus and Stan cost $25, and LinksMango with a CartMango checkout costs nothing right now, then about $0.83 a month once CartMango’s paid plans start in November. Card processing is extra on every row.

The last row is my own pair of products, so weigh it with that in mind. LinksMango is a free link-in-bio page with product cards whose Buy button goes to your own checkout, and it takes 0%. CartMango is that checkout: free right now, from $10 a year once paid plans start in November, with no cut of sales.

Beacons does more inside 1 account. It sends email, builds a media kit and runs Instagram auto-replies, and it hosts video courses on Creator Plus. CartMango passes each buyer to an email tool you already use, and its course hosting and community are planned for October 2026 on the $30 a year plan. If you want everything in one place, Beacons or Stan is the simpler choice. Our Stan Store alternative guide sorts the options by what you need, and the guide to selling digital products on Instagram covers the setup for a link-in-bio store.

FAQ

How much does Beacons cost per month?

Beacons costs $0 on Free, $10 a month on Creator, $30 on Creator Plus and $100 on Creator Max. Paying yearly brings Creator to $100 a year and Creator Plus to $300 a year. Free and Creator also keep 9% of each product sale, and Stripe’s 2.9% plus $0.30 applies on every plan.

Is Beacons AI completely free?

Beacons’ AI tools are free up to a daily limit. The free plan gives 30 AI credits a day, enough for about 10 chats with Beam, the built-in assistant, at 3 credits each. Creator raises the limit to 300 credits a day, and Creator Plus and Creator Max remove it.

Does Beacons take a cut of my sales?

Yes, on 2 of its 4 plans. Free and Creator keep 9% of every product sale and 9% of affiliate commissions. Creator Plus and Creator Max charge 0%. Your payment processor still charges its own fee on every plan, 2.9% plus $0.30 per sale on Stripe in the US.

Is Beacons worth it?

Beacons is worth it if you want a link page, store, email and media kit in 1 account. Stay on the free plan while you sell less than about $333 a month, since the 9% fee stays under the $30 Creator Plus costs. Above that, Creator Plus saves money. Creator charges the same 9% on top of its $10, so pick it for the domain and email sends.

Do I have to pay for Beacons?

No. The free plan has no monthly fee and no time limit. You pay through the 9% seller fee when you sell, and through the 50-send monthly limit if you email your list. A paid plan becomes the cheaper option once your sales pass about $333 a month.

Where your Beacons sales could land instead

The 9% is the one part of the Beacons price that grows with every sale, and it only disappears at $30 a month. If your link page is mostly there to sell a few files, you can split the link page from the checkout. A free link page handles the links, and a separate checkout takes the payment without taking a percentage.

That is the setup LinksMango and CartMango are made for. LinksMango gives you the free page with product cards. CartMango runs the checkout behind each Buy button with no cut of the sale, with order bumps on every plan and upsells from the $20 a year plan.

Then point each Buy button at a CartMango checkout, which is free right now and from $10 a year once paid plans start in November.
